Meet Our Doulas

Orlando Birth Doula

Luna Jauregui

Certified Doula, CLC, Admin Team, Founder

Her journey as a Doula in Orlando began when she realized there was too much difference between what a couple’s expectations were about birth and the reality of current birth practices.  Luna is all about making sure our clients have informed consent and are making the choices that are right for THEM. By educating her clients in the birth process, she prepares them for their upcoming journey into parenthood and allows them to make informed decisions as they arise. Her services extend into post-partum when most new parents feel vulnerable and unsupported.

Luna will be joining our office administration staff for 2020.

She is only available for CBE and consults.

Black Doulas of Orlando

Keshia Lockett

Doula

Her passion for supporting women while giving birth started at an adolescent age. After supporting several family and friends during their births under the age of twenty years old she fell in love. In 2010, while pursuing her passion for working in healthcare she moved to Atlanta, Georgia to attend Georgia State University. While working in the field she realized there were major disparities in healthcare for black women giving birth. After years of working in the healthcare field, she transitioned to Orlando, Florida to pursue her passion for becoming a Birth Doula. Growing up very spiritual she was always extremely connected to the powerful gift of women. She’s gifted in the connection between a mother and her unborn by empowering women to labor on their own terms.

She is a Birth Doula who brings her heart and sense of peace with her to every labor. Keshia knows the importance of connecting with your mind, body, and spirit. Her goal as a Birth Doula is to help every family realize the power within themselves and the importance of taking control of their birth experience.

Birth is not only about making babies. It’s about making mothers strong, competent, capable mothers who trust themselves and believe in their inner strength.” ~Barbara Katz Rothman~

Orlando Doula of Color

Nicolle Arendt

Doula, Student Midwife

Nicolle currently serves as a Birth Doula and Postpartum Doula while studying at the Florida School of Traditional Midwifery in pursuit of becoming a Licensed Midwife. Nicolle’s desire to help women and babies rooted as a small child when her younger sisters were born. It wasn’t until after graduating from UCF with a degree in Health Sciences that she discovered she could not stay away from the idea of pursuing birth work. Before becoming a doula, Nicolle worked in hospital administration within the Orlando healthcare sector. It was between the pregnancy of her close friend/sorority sister and a pure leap of faith that finally pushed her to make the switch. More importantly, it was through the birth of her Goddaughter that Nicolle realized her true calling and the real demand for advocacy and support of women, especially women of color, as they endure one of the most important moments of their lives: childbirth.

Orlando Spanish Doula

Daniela Osorio

Doula

Given that her mother was a pediatric nurse working in the NICU, it was not long before Daniela found her passion for birth and infant advocacy. Her Colombian roots have always taught her that it really does take a village to endure childbirth, the postpartum period and to raise a child. She has always been eager to be a part of that village for her friends and family; serving as their advocate, companion and as a resource.

Being a first-generation immigrant, she has seen the disparity in the quality of service towards minorities in the health care system. She understands the importance of empowering any birthing person, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation, to make informed decisions.

“Whenever and however you intend to give birth, your experience will impact your emotions, your mind, your body and your spirit for the rest of your life.”
